What a book review service can and cannot do for your launch
A review service can create social proof, search footprint, and a better story for your launch page. It cannot force sales, fix the book, or make the market care about something readers do not want.
Review services are strongest when you need a credible third-party opinion, a place to collect quotes, or a review trail you can reuse in email and on site. That is the real job.
The wrong expectation is to treat a review as the finish line. A review is one piece of the sales path. The rest still has to work: positioning, audience, and follow-up.
Practical and plainspoken is the point. If an offer sounds too polished to explain itself, it probably is.
